Mike Handby (aka Ignight, DJ Ignight, or Mike Ignight) lives to light people up. He believes that shared emotion is the most lit human experience, and he’s made it his mission to create those moments, which create unforgettable events.

Mike holds a Bachelor’s in Innovation and lives a radically rebellious sober lifestyle- free of sugars, intoxicants, and the 9 -5 grind. He shows up clear, creative, and committed to his craft. As he often says: ”Music is the drug!”

A true artist and innovator, Ignight’s tool kit includes; seamless music mixing, lit venue/concert lighting, cryo/pyrotechnics, content capture, bespoke entertainment design, precision production planning, fresh integration of old and new technologies, musician and cirque act synergies and more. On the canvas of live events, Ignight employs these tools to paint transformative, immersive experiences that connect on a soul level.

He’s deeply involved in community-driven, health-forward movements like Sundown and Secret Dance Addiction, helping redefine nightlife as a space for conscious connection, not escape. Whether Mike’s crafting cinematic soundscapes, performing at festivals, or DJing a once-in-a-lifetime wedding, Ignight’s goal is the same: “to spark a light that lasts and spreads.”

“I started drumming at 9, fell in love with sound, and never looked back. From bands to production, DJing to live performance, I’ve played every type of event imaginable—parties, clubs, cruises, radio, corporate, festivals, virtual, and especially weddings. My clients love the dynamic artistic toolbox I bring, and I love lighting people up! What started with rhythm and movement has grown into fire, light, design, immersion, and connection. Turns out- there are a lot of things that light people up.”

Amberdehn (Mrs. Ignight) believes that it just takes one spark to get a party going! Her love of music began in 1st grade when she began studying piano, percussion and voice. Songwriting and music production came later in college, which brought her to the studio of a friend, where she met Mike Ignight during an music production session. The spark that they felt that day was fed by their mutual love for music and dance, and grew into Amber joining Ignight Entertainment first as a consultant, to Marketing Director, and then Co-Owner.

Amber loves to create and host parties and events. You’ll find her both behind-the-scenes and on-stage at Secret Dance Addiction pop-ups, where she and Mike host healthy nightlife dance parties that focus on music and connection. Amber is also Ignight Entertainment’s bespoke director, constantly creating new costumes and experiences for our clients.

With a B.A. in Marketing and a passion for creating epic events, Amber has found her home at Ignight Entertainment. Although Ignight Entertainment is not her first business (she sold her first company when she was 23), this is where Amber gets to combine her love for marketing and passion for music all in one place.

A true party queen, her DJ sets mix in pop and party hits from across the decades, plus a solid serving of unexpected bangers that knowingly light up the dance floor. She has performed with Autograf, N2N, SkiiTour, Curbi, Yolanda Be Cool, and BodyLvnguage, and has lit up the lineups of Celebrity Cruises, Sundown Music Festival and countless events.
