Alpacas, Altitude, and All-Out Dancing: A Very Colorado Wedding Bash

K & K’s big day was nothing short of magical — a perfect blend of adventure, love, and high-altitude celebration. It began with a breathtaking mountaintop ceremony at Granby Family Ranch, where guests rode up on the ski lift, taking in sweeping views, and stunning floral installations brought bursts of color to everywhere from the bride’s bouquet to the alpaca’s outfits.

After the ceremony, a pair of adorable bride and groom alpacas greeted guests at happy hour — decked out and photo-ready, they stole the show and everyone’s hearts.

As the sun dipped, the party elevated. Guests made their way to the dance floor, where disco head dancers lit up the night and an O₂ bar kept everyone refreshed and energized at altitude. The dance floor surprises continued with a violinist joining guests on the dance floor, and a beautiful disco-themed photo booth with fresh flowers and LED sign.

Over 130 disco balls from tiny table top sizes to 16” mirror balls paired with fresh flowers lit up the space. With DJ Amberdehn spinning a perfect mix of pop and party anthems, the celebration turned into an all-out dance frenzy.

K & K didn’t just throw a wedding — they created an experience. One that was vibrant, playful, heartfelt, and uniquely them from mountaintop vows to the final beat drop.
