Colorado Elegant Meets High Energy: A Wedding with Lasers, LEGO & In-N-Out
Luxury weddings are not about adding more. Often, luxury is less. But it is also about choosing what matters and delivering it as an experience for you and your guests.
This couple did exactly that. Held at Arrowhead Golf Course near Denver, CO, K & A ‘s wedding brought a brightness and fun both to the venue and their guests. Scroll down to see their dance party video 🎥
Here are five things that made this Colorado wedding pop.
1. Let Nature shine
Red rocks created the look for their outdoor ceremony. That is one of the strongest ways to create an elegant wedding: choose a space with its own vibe, then enhance it rather than hide it.
The couple did not need to overdecorate or compete with the venue. They let the Colorado landscape lead and built an elegant celebration around it.
2. Add what you love
Their sweet little dog joined the ceremony and had the most adorable photos taken with the bouquets (see below). It was so clear how much they loved their pet!
Plus, the LEGO guest book gave guests something fun and interactive to create instead of signing a traditional book. How fun! We love LEGO, too.
3. Build energy
The best weddings build energy throughout the day and into the night.
K & A’s wedding moved from an elegant Colorado ceremony into a vibrant experience once the reception started. The wireless uplights went from ambient to synced with DJ Ignight’s performance. The bride changed dresses, the energy of the music built, and the bridal party really brought the dance floor energy.
4. The reception is your private concert
The reception felt less like a standard wedding and more like a private late-night event built around the couple and their guests. Our playlisting and planning app made it super easy for K & A to request David Guetta, Cascada, Bad Bunny, Disco Lines & Tanashe, Major Lazer and Miley Cyrus for open dancing. From there, DJ Ignight’s performance, party lighting, and lasers worked together to transform the venue and create a full dance-floor experience.
5. Late-Night Food
In-N-Out Burger arrived at the start of dancing. Thank goodness! Weddings take a lot of energy, and if you want to keep the dance floor going, your guests need more than sugar (aka cake). So much yes to protein!
It was simple, fun, and perfectly timed. Luxury hospitality is not always formal. Sometimes a simple luxury is handing your guests a hot burger after they have been dancing under lasers all night.
