Everything You Need to Know About Cold Sparks
Our cold spark units are by far the most popular (and lit) special effects we use at weddings. Here are the most important details about cold sparks for weddings and events:
They are indoor and outdoor-safe because they don't use any open flames (unlike sparklers). The sparks are cool to the touch, smokeless, and have no pyro smell.
Most venues will approve cold sparks for indoor or outdoor use. Ignight Entertainment always follows local & national safety recommendations; obtaining a certificate of insurance, planning, and obtaining permits from local fire departments as laws/regulation varies between counties.
Permits are typically required by the city/county that your event is in. We will pull the permits required for your event, this cost is included in our services.
Ignight Entertainment has a team of licensed pyrotechnicians on our team. Though cold sparks are generally considered a very safe “pyro” effect, our skilled operators always plan and design a safe and #lit show for all!
Cold sparks draw up to 4 amps (650 watts) per unit, for about 2 mins before they’re ready to go.
Cold sparks look stunning and epic in photo/video. We’ll work with your photographer/videographer to ensure they capture the full effect, and can add extra test shots if needed.
