Who is DoubleCrush? Meet the spicy DJ duo behind Ignight Entertainment.

Mike and Amber met in the studio (aw…. 😍). But this story starts even before that. Straight out of college at UCCS, Mike founded Ignight Entertainment. A drummer of many years, he fell in love with DJing at Ultra Music fest in Miami. Also around that time, Amber, a music producer and vocalist, decided to hire a highly recommended Ableton producer to help her make tracks. Lo and behold, this certain someone was Mike.

The two eventually chose the name DoubleCrush for their DJ duo gigs. Why? Upon realizing they had a crush on each other while producing in the studio those years ago… Love always makes for a good story!

Mike and Amber love bringing DoubleCrush performances to weddings as well as their own parties. These rising stars are now slaying festivals, and have co-founded Secret Dance Addiction (SDA) and Sundown Music Fest. You can catch them performing at the Black Box or out on their mission to normalize healthy nightlife with SDA.

  • The DJ duo lights up private events with Ignight Entertainment on the daily, with Mike as Creative Director and Amber leading Bespoke and Marketing.

  • They live in Thornton with their son Finn and their dream car, Squirt, a Chevrolet Camero.

    • Squirt is important to this story because Mike proposed to Amber at Mt. Everest Base Camp with a matchbox toy Camero.

  • In the studio, the duo produces soulful (and sometimes quirky) electronic dance tracks, featuring Amber's vocals and Mike's bass influence.

    • Amber is a vocalist and songwriter! She loves singing EDM tracks.

    • A drummer of over 25 years, Mike brings live rhythms and recorded sounds to weddings, events, and his original cinematic electronic music.
